Turning every material in VASTARA's database into a number you can build on, not an assumption you have to hope holds.

Why Validated Data, Not Datasheets

Manufacturer datasheets tell you what a material should do under ideal conditions. They rarely tell you what it actually does once it's been printed layer by layer, aged under UAE ambient conditions, or loaded in a direction the datasheet never tested. That gap is where projects quietly fail months after delivery: a part that looked correct on paper but was never validated for the environment or load case it actually faced.

To close that gap, VASTARA partnered with the American University of Sharjah (AUS) to independently test every material in its portfolio against recognized international standards — turning assumption into evidence before a single client part is ever produced.

Each material undergoes rigorous specimen testing - up to 83 specimens per material, with results recorded as raw, traceable data rather than pre-processed averages, so every number in VASTARA's database can be traced back to its source test. A total of 4000+ samples were created and used to build real engineering data!

Building an Assurance Plan for Every Client Project

The purpose of this entire program is practical, not academic: every client project that comes through VASTARA can be backed by a material assurance plan grounded in real, independently verified data. Before a material is recommended for a client's application, VASTARA can answer - with evidence - how it performs mechanically, how it behaves electrically if relevant, how it holds up over time and temperature, and what handling conditions are required to protect that performance during manufacturing.

This is what allows VASTARA to move from "this material should work" to "this material is validated to work, and here's the data", reducing risk for clients across aerospace, automotive, industrial, and commercial applications where a part's field performance is not something you get a second chance to test.

Acknowledgment

VASTARA extends its sincere appreciation to the material testing team at the American University of Sharjah for their continued rigor, partnership, and technical contribution to this program. This collaboration remains a cornerstone of VASTARA's ability to deliver additive manufacturing backed by genuine engineering-grade material science.
